From Beginning to End What to Expect 1. Contact us by phone or e-mail to get a quote. 2. A Greenturf estimator will call you within 48 hours to arrange a time to meet with you. 3. We will measure your water pressure, check soil conditions, check drainage conditions and the overall difficulty of the potential installation (i.e. roots, rock, difficult soil conditions) 4. We will determine if the installation will require the use of a pipe pulling machine, trencher, boring unit etc. And/or if the job will be done by hand work. 5. We will determine the placement of heads for various coverage types. 6. The Greenturf representative will make a simple diagram to explain the different coverage types. 7. We will usually prepare an estimate on the spot. We include product literature, references, and a proposal. 8. If you decide which option suits your irrigation needs and your budget, we can then discuss the installation date. 9. Once you are signed up, we take care of utility locates. Gas, Hydro, Bell. 10. On the start date, we usually begin with pipe installation, then sprinkler installation and electric valve installation. Always being sure to keep damage to your lawn and gardens to an absolute minimum. Plumbing tie-in, irrigation controller and rain sensor installation will be happening at this time too. 11. We complete the installation with a superior clean up and restoration of any affected areas. We take extreme pride in this aspect of an installation. A good installation crew should have the ability to keep your landscape looking as it did before we arrived. It is something we at Greenturf excel at. 12. Once everything is installed it is time to adjust all heads for proper coverage and efficiency. 13. The irrigation controller is programmed for optimal water use according to the season. 14. A Greenturf representative will do a "walk-around" and run through of the system with you. We will show you some basic controller programing and make sure all your questions and concerns are met. 15.Within a week or two, you would never know we were there! We are positive you will love your new automatic irrigation system. It is guaranteed to be one of the greatest conveniences you will ever experience.
